Starlit Magic ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to provide the app's features:
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your email address. We never see your real Apple ID email unless you explicitly opt in.
- Location data: Used only by the My Party feature to share your position with members of your active party. Location is never stored on our servers beyond the active session and is never used for advertising or tracking.
- Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated data about app performance and feature usage to help us improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to any individual user.
- Saved content: Your trip plans, Hidden Mickey check-offs, pin trading notes, and app preferences are stored on your device and, when signed in, synced to our servers solely to enable your experience across devices.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- No third-party advertising networks or tracking SDKs
- No behavioral profiling or cross-app tracking
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
- No persistent location tracking outside of an active My Party session
3. How We Use Your Information
Information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Provide and improve the features of Starlit Magic
- Sync your saved data across your devices when signed in
- Enable My Party live location sharing with members you invite
- Respond to support requests you initiate
- Send transactional emails (account-related only — never marketing without consent)
4. In-App Purchases
Starlit Magic Premium is available as a one-time in-app purchase at $19.99 (USD). All purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. AliKat Digital does not collect or store your payment information. For refund requests, please use Apple's standard App Store refund process within 14 days of purchase.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time directly from within the app — one tap, no support email required. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated usage data may be retained for product improvement purposes.
6. Children's Privacy
Starlit Magic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
7. Third-Party Services
Starlit Magic uses the following third-party services to deliver its features:
- Apple Sign In: For authentication — governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
- Wait time data providers: Third-party aggregators that provide live park data. These providers receive no personally identifiable information from us.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure server infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice.
